Our Special Footprints

Today Room 11 went on the previous Room 12 blog that was made a couple of years ago. We looked at a video post by the ex-Sunnybrae students who wrote one word that was important to them on their hands.
They called them Hand Messages. Our main focus is Putting Our Best Foot Forward. So we took their idea and instead of using our hands drew huge kidney-bean-like footprints on pieces of cardboard.
We also wrote a word that was very important to us and wrote it down creatively on our footprint picture.

My Funny Holiday Footprint

For the Footprint activity, we had to take a photo of ourselves and cut out our digital heads out so they looked really big compared to our cartoon bodies. I like mine because mine is underwater and looks like a big bobble-head.
I really enjoyed this activity because it was really really funny seeing our heads bigger than our bodies in the pictures.
Can you guess what my favorite holiday activity is? It looks pretty obvious!

My Holiday Picture

Mr Gordon came in, I wondered why?
He said we where going to do a holiday footprint using a digital headshot. It was funny seeing peoples digital heads on the little bodies .
Mr Gordon likes my picture because of my use of colour.
Can you guess what my holiday footprint is about?

My Holiday Footprint

We took digital headshots and wondered what we were going to do with them!  I soon found out that we were going to use them to draw a picture of our Holiday Footprint (a special memory from the holidays).

I like my picture because it looks like I'm doing a really big bounce off the sea biscuit!
