Museum Trip

Museum Trip

On Wednesday all of the senior syndicate went to the Auckland Museum. At the start we had a little struggle to get enough adults to come with us but finally some generous and helpful parents came. We went to the Museum to learn more about our topic Earth Forces because in the Museum there is a volcano gallery. The Volcano gallery was very interesting and here are some things we learnt

*Volcanoes are not always fiery and hot because there are some ice volanoes that don’t blast out boiling hot lava but they shoot out freezing cold snow and icy slush. They are found on the moons of Neptune,Saturn and Jupiter.

*When you hear that a disaster is going to strike you need to know what to do and every family has to be prepared.

We really enjoyed being at the Museum on Wedneday and we learnt a lot of things about our wonderful topic Earth forces.
