Sports Exchange

Last Friday the 26 August Sunnybrae Normal School had a sports exchange with St Mary’s School. We could either play netball, soccer, rippa or tapuae. I decided to play netball. The rippa and netball people walked down to the courts and fields at Onewa. The tapuae and soccer people stayed at Sunnybrae. For netball there were three teams. My friends and I were in team one which mostly had the people who play netball on a Wednesday night. Our team won two out of three games. I played GS,GK and GA a different position for every game. St Mary’s had lots of strong teams. I enjoyed playing netball because it was fun. This year I don’t play netball for the school, so it’s a good time to play again and remember the game. Over all It was a nice afternoon.I enjoyed being outside getting fresh air and giving people a time to show their strengths.
